Starting in 2013 and hosted at various locations across European, Country to Country has boasted the best names the country genre has to offer. From Carrie Underwood to Lady Antebellum, this festival offers a wide range of country acts and stages across the three day event.
In association with BBC Radio2 country, the radio station operates a four day pop up radio booth during the event and broadcasts all of the headline acts throughout the days of the festival.
While most festivals occur in the summer months, C2C has taken place in Oslo, Stockholm and London in March over the active five year stint. With the early bird tickets already sold out for the 2018 event, festival goers will have to be quick to get general release tickets for the Glasgow SSE Hydro at the official release on May 17th 2017.
For a relatively niche music genre and event, the popularity of Country to Country is shown in the organisers adding a day to the whole festival in the first two years of running it. From there, the number of stages has grown from one to seven in its 4 year existence.
Tickets range between £148.50 and £262.50 and a maximum of six tickets can be purchased on one transaction from AXS and Gigs and Tours or through the official website at http://www.c2c-countrytocountry.com/.
